Why Use Roll Up Doors If You’re Running A Shop
If you are a business owner from Edmond, El Reno, Mustang, OKC, Oklahoma City, Piedmont, Yukon who is running their own shop, selling products or food, then this article is for you.
Roll up doors are not enough to keep your shop safe
There has been a long debate over what kinds of doors provide better protection to a shop: overhead door or roll up doors. The truth is that, no matter what type of door you choose, you will also need some extra measures of precaution: an alarm system, video surveillance cameras, and an extra metal door for increased protection.
Still, the question is valid.
And the answer is simple: if your shop is on a street somewhere outdoors, you should choose the roll up doors. Usually overhead doors are used by homeowners for their garage entrance because roll up doors are not as efficient for them on the long run.
If your shop is in a mall or in a shopping building, then you probably don’t need the door at all. A lot of shops that are located in malls are only using grille-doors which allow walkers-by to look inside even if the shop is closed.
The problem with roll up doors
If you are going to buy roll up doors for your shop, pay attention to hooligans. It is advised that you purchase a door that already has a pattern on it. You can paint it yourself once you install it, otherwise you risk waking up one day to a door full of graffiti.
A lot of business owners have had to live with the idea that their shop’s roll up door was vandalized and the wrongdoers were never caught. Therefore, you can spray your door by yourself: use elements which represent your business and your shop. If you are not a great painter you can hire a local artist to do the job for you. There are a lot of graffiti-ed roll up doors that look great because their owners created a pattern which compliments their shop.
